Happy 1 Year!

This past weekend Sonny and I had our make-up anniversary weekend. (I had to work on the actual date.) We initially thought about going to Chicago and then Cancun, but when all was said and done we ended up at the beach just a couple of hours away. It was nice to get away and completely disconnect. I'm surprised Sonny was able to that considering he's such a tech junky! We enjoyed good food, great weather and each other.

So often we get caught up in the daily grind and stresses that we forget how much we actually like/love each other. I'm so happy that I got to marry one of the best people I know who not only loves me unconditionally, but who helps me to be the best person I can be. Happy first wedding anniversary, Genius!

Since the last post I have taken a new job as Assistant Director for Annual Giving, traveled to NYC and Washington DC for work, stressed over wrapping up my old job- completed my last board meeting, gone to football games and game day receptions, met and had my photo taken with Tommy Wright, took a girls-weekend beach trip, went through another round of meds., celebrated my first wedding anniversary, saw Sugarland and Sara Barielles in concert from a private suite and I'm sure I'm leaving some other things off- but that's the highlight of the past two months!
